How to Play Norinori
How to play Norinori: shade two cells per region so every black cell belongs to a 1×2 domino. Dominoes may cross borders. Covers Norinori rules, controls and Hint.
Shade two cells in every region. Every black cell must belong to a 1×2 domino. Dominoes may cross region borders and cannot share a side.
Press Start Game
The board stays covered until you start. Unfinished local progress can resume from this screen.
Shade two cells
Tap or click a cell to shade it. Two shaded cells that share a side make a domino.
Undo, hint, or reset
Undo reverses the last change. Hint reveals part of a correct pair. The board wins automatically when every region is covered legally.

How to Shade Cells
Click or tap a white cell to shade it, and click a black cell to clear it. A legal pair is always two cells that share a side.
Mouse
Click a cell to toggle shading. Use this on a computer when you want precise placement.
Phone or Tablet
Tap a cell to toggle shading. Drag is not required.
Keyboard
Arrow keys move the focus. Enter or Space cycles empty, black and white. X marks white. Delete or Backspace clears a cell. Ctrl/Command+Z undoes.
Norinori Game Controls
Every board shows Undo, Hint and Reset. Completing a legal covering wins automatically. Redo is keyboard-only: Ctrl+Y or Command+Shift+Z while the board is focused.
Undo and Redo
Undo reverses the last board change. Redo reapplies an undone change.
Hint
Hint shows a correct shaded cell or pair and may clear a conflicting mark. Hints pause for five seconds. This is a solution hint, not a verdict on the rest of the board.
When you want reasoning rather than a revealed cell, continue with Norinori strategy.
Reset
Reset clears the marks without resetting the attempt timer or move count.
